Companionship is an important task that is basically being a companion for seniors. This is important because it does not always have to do with helping those who are not healthy but can also help those who are healthy. Healthy seniors can benefit from companionship because it allows them to remain independent at home yet can also help with some non-medical assistance that can make a senior’s life a bit easier.
Services
- Preparing of meals
- Light housekeeping
- Grocery shopping
- Driving to Doctors appointments or any errand for that matter
- Washing dishes or clothes and watering plants
All in One Home Health Care can help if you don’t have any medical issues but could still use assistance around the home either emotionally or with general companionship. It is important to note that companion care services will provide companionship, respite for the main caregiver, offer encouragement and perform light housekeeping tasks but will not provide hands-on care for the client such as feeding and dressing.
